Haitham al-Badri
Haitham Sabah Shaker Mohammed al-Badri (Arabic: هيثم صباح شاكر محمد البدري) was an Iraqi government official under Saddam Hussein and is described as the Al-Qaeda mastermind behind the February 22, 2006 Al Askari Mosque bombing in Samarra.
According to officials, Badri also personally killed Atwar Bahjat, an Iraqi reporter for the Al Arabiya television network.
Badri was killed in an airstrike on August 2, 2007.[1]
